Investment Wine Time

So, a trip down to visit the parents was brilliantly rewarded when Dad decided to crack open some super fancy wine as a New Years treat! No thank you dry January! We tried a delicious Mazis-Chambertin which is a lovely, light Burgandy. Not my usual red wine choice at all, not least due to the price tag! It was light, but somehow full of flavour I suppose a combination like this is what you get for a higher price tag. Very tasty on its own but I reckon would pair wonderfully with various meats, had I but time and money I'd love to try it with some tasty roast pork. It's going to be tough returning to a £7 a bottle classic but I'll have to manage it somehow!
